A random driver noticed a teenager walking on the side of the road without reflectors. He took him to the car and called the policemen from Łomża (Podlaskie Voivodeship). It turned out that the 16-year-old left the house after an argument with his parents and wandered around.

On Monday (April 3), just before midnight, the Łomża police received a report from a random driver who met a teenager walking alone on the road. The driver was concerned that the boy was walking on the roadside outside the built-up area and had no reflectors.

“The 39-year-old took the 16-year-old to the car, then called the emergency number and informed the police that he would be waiting for them at a nearby gas station” – informs senior aspirant Karolina Wojciekian from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Łomża.

Uniforms took the boy to his home, where they handed him over to his worried parents. According to the police, the boy had quarreled with them earlier because they made him study.

“He left the house to cool down, but changed his mind and, without informing anyone, went in an unknown direction. Thanks to the vigilance and interest of a random driver, the teenager returned home quickly and safely” – reports the policewoman.
