IMWM warns about heavy rainfall that will occur during storms. In places, up to 40 liters of water may fall per square meter. Check where the weather will be dangerous.

Forecasters from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) issued meteorological warnings.

IMWM warnings – heavy rain with thunderstorms

First level warnings against heavy rainfall that will occur during storms are in force in the voivodeship Podkarpackiein the following counties: Jasło, Krosno, Krosno, Sanok, Lesko, Bieszczady, Przemyśl, Przemyśl, Jarosław, Lubaczów.

Rainfall is forecast to be moderate, heavy at times, with a total of 30 to 40 liters of water per square meter. The rainfall will be accompanied by storms with wind gusts reaching up to approximately 70 kilometers per hour. Hail is possible. The warnings will be valid until 7 a.m. on Sunday.

What is the IMWM first degree meteorological warning?

The first level warning provides for conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that may cause material losses and pose a threat to health and life. Conducting business in conditions of exposure to these factors is difficult and dangerous. Expect difficulties resulting from carrying out activities in the hazardous area, including delays caused by traffic disruptions, disruptions to outdoor events or the possibility of their cancellation. Caution is recommended, the need to follow messages and developments in the weather situation.
