In the course of the investigation, his guilt was proved and originally sentenced to four years and eight months in prison for rape over a person over 15, but under 18 years of age. After a long process, the penalty was reduced due to cooperation with the justice dimension. In January 2024, the provincial court found him guilty.

However, the punishment is not too high. The 52-year-old was sentenced to three years, one month and ten days in prison. In addition, he will have to pay 120,000 baht compensation for the victim and 50,000 baht for her guardians. In total, compensation will amount to just over PLN 20,000. According to the Associated Press, the convict announced to local reporters that he was planning to appeal against the sentence.
