I look with horror at the growing posts of Sławomir Mentzen, who unfortunately successfully hid his true views – said in “Piasecki's conversation” on TVN24 Left candidate for President Magdalena Biejat. According to her, the left “failed to reach young people” on social media. “My campaign is also largely about catching up these backlogs,” she said.

Biejat was asked, among others, about polls that indicate her low support among voters. – I think that, unfortunately, this also applies to leftist voters that they are so afraid of returning PiSthat they prefer to stipulate the nose and vote for less evil, instead of choosing in accordance with their beliefs and according to what they believe – she said.

– I would like to appeal to you today that you would not be afraid, because in the first round no one will win anyway. We do not talk about a lost voice, but about some information you want to send to the rulers – believes Biejat.

Beiejat: We were not enough in social media

Magdalena Biejat, asked why the polls indicate the growing support of young people for Sławomir Mentzen, and not for her, she replied: – I look with horror at the growing posts of Sławomir Mentzen, who unfortunately successfully hid his true views. Views that talk about closing women for ten years for interrupting pregnancies even when it is the result of rape.

– Until now, we have not been able to reach these young people well. We have a really good program. (…) Until now, unfortunately, we have not been effective in reaching Tiktok users. Today, my campaign is also largely about catching up these backlogs. We invest very much in reaching people in social media. Today, young people and middle age derive information about politics primarily from social media. There were too little of us there so far with this offer – said Gościni TVN24.

Biejat boasted that, according to a report a few weeks ago, her account on the thicket “is growing the fastest”. “We invest in it very much and I hope that it will finally show up in surveys,” she added.

Asked whether more support for Mentzen among young people is due to social media, Biejat said: – We fail to get well with this offer, and of course that it is better.

What the polls say
