A 43-year-old driver can talk about great happiness, who in the town of Oszkiecz-Folwark (Masovian) on an unguarded railroad crossing, entered the locomotive wheels. He explained his behavior with distraction.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, just after 5pm, on an unguarded railway crossing in Przechycza-Folwark (Długosiodło commune).
As initially determined by the police working at the scene of the incident, the 43 -year -old, head of the Seat, driving towards Długosiodło, did not comply with the “stop” sign and entered the railway crossing, leading to a collision with the locomotive of the Ostrołęka – Tłuszk passenger train, which, apart from the driver, traveled 14 people.

“A distraction could cost him life”
– Seat driver can talk about great happiness, because as a result of this dangerous -looking event did not suffer. As he said the uniformed, he was “tired and distracted after work”, but this “distraction” could cost him health and even life – said the police press officer in Wyszków, commissioner Wioleta Szymanik.
– As a result of the collision of vehicles, not only a passenger car and train, but also road infrastructure were damaged. In the collision of vehicles, the train passengers did not suffer. The drivers were sober – she added.
– Policemen appeal to get behind the wheel of the vehicle to be healthy and rested, because our psychophysical state has a very large impact on how we behave behind the wheel, including undoubtedly the time of response to what is happening on the road – the subcommitter stated Szymanik.
