The Sinsay chain is withdrawing two toys from its stores due to defects that may pose a risk to children's health.
According to a statement published by Office of Competition and Consumer ProtectionSinsay is recalling two children's toys. Both were manufactured in China.
The product in question is a “Wooden Musical Toy”, model number: 7698P. It has been recalled because “the metal plate with the stand and the pegs holding the cymbal bars may become detached, posing a risk to small children.”
The second recalled toy is a “Toy Cart”, model number: 7938R. In this case, it was found that the cart “has only one lock and is not sufficiently resistant to load.”
In a message to customers, the chain appealed “to stop using these products and follow the returns procedure below.”
How do I return a faulty product?
Products purchased in stationary stores can be returned in any Sinsay stationary store. Customers who do not have proof of purchase will be asked by the staff to fill out the appropriate form.
Products purchased in the online store can be returned after logging into the customer account. Then, select the command “return” or “complaint” and follow the instructions received by email.
“If you have any questions, please contact us by phone at 58 353 65 65 (cost according to the operator's price list),” the network said on its website.
