President's candidates faced on Monday evening in a debate organized by “Super Express”. Discussions overshadowed the controversial statements of Grzegorz Braun and Maciej Maciak. After the debate, the participants shared their impressions.
On Monday evening, with the participation of all thirteen candidates who start in this year's presidential election, a presidential debate organized by “Super Express” took place.
The debate was divided into two rounds – in the first candidates they asked each other. In the second round, the candidates made short, 90-second statements.

Trzaskowski: We need someone who will build Poland for everyone
– You saw how much shouting there was, how many speaking about political parties, how many patting the same message was, and how much a peaceful conversation was. Much less, unfortunately – said the Civic Coalition candidate after the debate Rafał Trzaskowski.
– You saw at the very end of this debate, how many of my opponents repeated the same words, and I said what is most important to me: about the experiences of individual people, because people are the most important and people need to love if you apply for the highest office in the Commonwealth – he emphasized.
– Today we need someone who will build bridges, who will build Poland absolutely for everyone who will not look back all the time. We build such Warsaw: absolutely for everyone – said Trzaskowski.
He added that he wants to build “Poland in which the President of the Republic of Poland will be able to talk to absolutely everyone, but will also stand hard when someone is offended.”
The President of Warsaw emphasized that in the history of Poland “there is no place for anti -Semitism, there is no place in Poland for words that try to divide us all the time and there is no place for politicians who build their capital only on bad emotions.”
– Today the most important thing is that we are together. That we would recreate the community. There were traces today that you can talk calmly. That even if someone asks questions with bad intention, one can talk about the positive vision of Poland – he added.

Nawrocki: Końskie was obtained
Rafał Trzaskowski pointed out that the candidate of Law and Justice Karol Nawrocki After the debate in Końskie “he abandoned the flag on the battlefield”. – I wanted to show that Poland won in Końskie. Hołownia: In such debates it is difficult to show the program

These debates are often about grabbing words, about statements, but I hope that once again I managed to show that I am not afraid of talking to anyone and I am able to fight for Polish matters with everyone, regardless of what nonsense he tells and what pressure he has on power – he pointed out.
Szymon Hołownia added that in his opinion “what happened here today cannot be compared, even to the most difficult election rally and the most piercing questions that are heard from people.”

– I think debates are a bit of a theater. We do not have to avoid gadgets or visual tricks, but the flag is the last resort. Flags should not be used to put someone on his head, so that someone's Polish flag is hurt, because the Polish flag should connect us, even in the moments that divide – he added.
Biejat announces the submission of a notification for the prosecutor's office
Magdalena Biejat from the new left, asked about the confrontation with Joanna Senyszyn, said: “I'm not afraid of Joanna Senyszyn completely.” – For Joanna Senyszyn, the election is an opportunity for happening, and I treat them deadly seriously – she assured.
“It was particularly outraged that for most of this debate, anti -Semitic, disgusting words on the part of Grzegorz Braun were almost without comments,” she pointed out.
She announced that in connection with these events she would submit a notification to the prosecutor's office on Tuesday “for hate speech, spreading aggression and for hate calling” on the part of Grzegorz Braun.
– Today Mr. Grzegorz Braun, who is covered by the immunity of MEP, turns into a native terrorist who must be afraid of doctor in obstetric wards, patients and ordinary women and immediately unleashed the next hunt for more groups of citizens – she added.
