At the end of July, the National Electoral Commission, for the purpose of further examination of the election report of the Law and Justice committee, requested further data from the Government Legislation Centre and the National Research Institute NASK. The National Electoral Commission wants to determine how the resources of these two bodies were used by the previous PiS government, bypassing the electoral code and campaign limits, for the purposes of conducting the election campaign for the Sejm and Senate.

In the materials that the Government Legislation Centre sent to the National Electoral Commission a few days ago, irregularities for the 2023 election campaign were calculated at around PLN 214,000, which is more than half of what is needed to reject the committee's report – the website reports. money.plOf this amount, PLN 183,000 is the cost of employing seven employees from August 8 to October 13, 2023.
The current head of RCL, Joanna Knapińska, in an interview with the portal, announced that she would take legal action for the reimbursement of remuneration for co-workers employed by Krzysztof Szczucki for the entire period of their employment, i.e. at least from December 2022.

Krzysztof Szczucki was also supposed to work for nine days at the Government Legislation Centre and at the same time run an election campaign. Szczucki assures that he did it while on holiday. In turn, the current management claims that they are able to prove that it was not always like that. “The entire team employed at RCL functioned in practice as an election staff – it was hierarchically structured, tasked and had a strictly organized work mode” – indicates money.pl
When asked about the allegations, Krzysztof Szczucki assured the portal that if anyone helped him in the campaign, they did so in their free time, not while working for the Government Legislation Center. He also questioned the calculations sent to the National Electoral Commission regarding his and his co-workers' earnings.
