She added that in the coming week, the MPs will submit a motion to create a group to act independently as the Razem Party at the first November meeting.

Zandberg: if there are no changes in the budget, we will not vote for it

The chairman of Razem, MP Adrian Zandberg, assessed that the government Donald Tusk he disappointed the voters who voted for changes in the country a year ago. – The government brought a bad, anti-social budget to parliament. (…) This is not the budget we promised, said the party leader.

As he announced, Razem MPs will submit amendments to the draft state budget for 2025 to “fix this budget.” – If changes to this budget are not introduced, the Razem Party will vote against this budget – he said.

Zawisza: spending on health care needs to be increased

The draft budget was also criticized by MP Marcelina Zawisza, saying that one of the key conditions for its support is the issue of increasing spending on health care by over PLN 20 billion. – This is the minimum for this system to function properly – she noted. She announced that she would submit such an amendment to the Finance Committee and if it is not voted on, the budget will not receive the support of her party's MPs. She added that “the government could collect” these funds from banks, developers and large-format store chains.

– All of us in the opposition said with one voice that we need to increase spending on the public health care system. Today, the government is proposing a budget that is a poor implementation of the PiS law (…) it is capitulation and saying “let this system collapse.” This is hidden privatization – she said.

Missing from the congress were, among others, Deputy Speaker of the Senate Magdalena Biejat, senator Anna Górska and MPs Joanna Wichy, Dorota Olko and Daria Gosek-Popiołek, who decided to leave the Razem party on Thursday. They said that they would remain in the Left club, but would not join any party.

Tusk on “an extraordinary sense of dark humor”

Razem's decision was commented on Sunday on the X platform by politicians, including Prime Minister Donald Tusk. “'Law and Justice' and 'Together' – these party names were invented by someone with an extraordinary sense of humor. Black,” said the head of government.

According to the chairwoman of the Left coalition parliamentary club, Anna Maria Żukowska, “RAZEXIT has taken place.” She noted that she was not happy about this.

“So I'm not saying goodbye (…), just goodbye. Because we will see each other many times. May your decisions bring you peace and satisfaction!” – she addressed the Razem members: Adrian Zandberg, Marcelina Zawisza, Maciej Konieczny and Marta Stożek.
