Warsaw, Falenica. Accident on the railway tracks. Impediments

An accident occurred near the Warszawa Falenica station. There are difficulties in the operation of long-distance trains and local carriers.

The fatal train hit occurred near the Warszawa Falenica station at 34 Patriotów Street. There are traffic disruptions at the site.

“Warszawa Falenica. Accident involving a person and train 13108/9 (PKP INTERCITY Spółka Akcyjna) on the Warszawa Zachodnia – Rzeszów Główny route. Train delays of up to about 30 minutes may occur. Selected PKP INTERCITY trains directed on a circular route. We apologize for the inconvenience” – says in announcement on the passenger portal of PKP PLK.

Difficulties also affect local trains. “Due to the incident on the Warszawa Falenica-Otwock route, there are difficulties in the operation of SKM trains of the S1 and KM lines. Some trains may be delayed, canceled, or running on a shortened route,” informs the Public Transport Authority in Warsaw.
