Two months after the completion of the main construction works at the Gocławek and Olszynka Grochowska railway stops, not everything is still working. When will the elevators be available? – the passengers ask.
At the beginning of October, railway workers They showed off the results of several years of work on the Otwock line. They also announced further huge investments between Wawer and Otwock.
– We plan to launch the elevators on Gocławek in mid-November, and the footbridge on Olszynka Grochowska will be available to travelers in December this year – declared Karol Jakubowski from PKP PLK at the beginning of October.
On Wednesday we checked the situation on site. In both places, the work has clearly been completed, everything is new, bright and aesthetic. The workers are nowhere to be seen. But the elevators didn't work, they don't work. The entrances to the new footbridge are also fenced off. When will this change?
– The elevators at the Warszawa Gocławek stop are currently being accepted. We hope that they will be launched at the beginning of December – replies Karol Jakubowski.
Wesoła is waiting for information
The good news is that we managed to launch a passenger information system: classic railway clocks and active timetable boards. But there are places where the only option is to check the timetable on your phone, for example at the stop in Wesoła on the line to Sulejówek. A spokesman for PKP PLK assures that the boards will be switched on soon.
– The passenger information system is planned to be launched at the Warszawa Wesoła stop by the end of December, after the contractor's work is completed – assures Jakubowski.
