A 27-year-old Turkish citizen had to return to his country. He ended his journey from Izmir at Chopin Airport. All because of a fake document.
The incident with the participation of a 27-year-old Turkish citizen took place on Saturday at the Warsaw Chopin airport after the plane arrived from Izmir.
During the border check -in outside the original Turkish passport, the man showed the officer a visa issued to visit a friend. The 27-year-old was additionally asked to show documents confirming the purpose and conditions of entering our country. According to the border guard, the traveler announced that he did not have such. That is why he was directed to the second control line, where the purpose of his arrival in Poland was thoroughly examined.
“During the activities, the 27 -year -old presented in electronic form a supplementary document in the form of a work permit, which was supposed to entitle him to take up employment in one of the Gdynia companies. The document immediately raised the officer's doubts as to his authenticity. After the initial analysis of the permit, it was determined that it was fake in the original model” – described the Vistula Border Guard.
He heard the allegations
In connection with the whole situation, the man was annulled and a decision was issued to refuse to enter Poland. The foreigner was charged with the act of art. 264 § 2 of the Penal Code in connection with art. 270 § 1 of the Penal Code, i.e. attempting to illegally cross the state border of the Republic of Poland using a trick, using a counterfeit document.
“Turkish citizen did not confess to the alleged acts and exercised his right to refuse to provide explanations,” the border guard informed. The 27-year-old had to return to his country.
