Police officers from Bielany, Warsaw, detained a man suspected of possessing large amounts of drugs. Prohibited substances were in the bag that the 29-year-old had with him and in his apartment.
Police officers from the intelligence team from Bielany noticed a man sitting on a wall at Broniewskiego Street.
– The man held a plastic bag in his hand and looked around nervously. The police approached him to check what caused his nervous behavior. During the inspection, it turned out that the 29-year-old had a significant amount of dried plants on him, said the deputy inspector in a statement. Elwira Kozłowska, spokeswoman of the Warsaw V District Police Headquarters. She added that a resident of the district was detained.

Drugs stuffed in bags
On the same day, in the apartment belonging to the 29-year-old, the officers found bags containing narcotics hidden in various places. All substances were subjected to further tests, which showed that they were marijuana, 3-CMC and 4-CMC. The collected evidence was handed over to the prosecutor's office.
– At the Warsaw Żoliborz District Prosecutor's Office, a 29-year-old suspect was charged with possessing almost 500 grams of various types of narcotic drugs. The 29-year-old was placed under police supervision. This crime may be punishable by up to 10 years' imprisonment – concluded Elwira Kozłowska.
