Emergency services intervened after the tram hit a man on Nowowiejska Street. The pedestrian was imprisoned under the composition, firefighters escaped him.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Aleja Niepodległości with Nowowiejska Street.

The fire brigade received the report on the event at 19.05. – It concerned a man under the tram. After reaching the scene of the incident, the notification was confirmed. About 40-year-old man was under the tram. Our activities consisted in securing the place of the incident and then using hydraulic tools to release the injured person – described Senior Capt. Wojciech Kapczyński from the capital's fire brigade.
