– I probably didn't find the right solution because I wasn't able to put pressure on with my serve. Besides, I wasn't consistent enough from deep to help myself. You can't win if you make so many mistakes. And I made them. It's my fault – Świątek explained after the defeat. After all, the American won Wimbledon, the US Open, the WTA Finals and the China Open in 2012, and a year later she triumphed at Roland Garros, when she defeated Maria Sharapova in the final. Victoria Azarenka is in third place in the ranking. Dinara Safina, who is in fifth place, is the only player, apart from Jelena Janković and Karolina Pliskova, who has been at the top of the WTA rankings despite never winning a Grand Slam tournament.
