Two days of Taylor Swift concerts drew thousands to a nearby hill in Munich. “We've been here since six in the morning. I can't wait for Taylor Swift, the atmosphere, the songs and the whole concert,” says Pia Lippmann, another Taylor Swift fan.

The American star is slowly finishing the European part of her Eras tour. Fans are flying to see her all over the world. – I came from China especially to Munich for her concert. Taylor has great strength. She taught me how to survive life's difficulties – admits Hang Bowey, a Taylor Swift fan.

In the United States, tickets – even resale tickets – are hard to come by and extremely expensive. In many cases, it's simply more cost-effective to travel to Europe for a show.

– We flew in from New Jersey. My daughter will tell you what's so special about Swift – says Stacey Khan, a Taylor Swift fan. – She's amazing. During her three-and-a-half-hour performance, she makes everyone feel seen. She's invincible – says McKenzie Khan, a Taylor Swift fan.

Each Swift concert is an economic phenomenon that causes the effect of swiftlation, or momentary inflation on a micro scale caused by the artist's presence in the city. This mainly concerns the prices of hotel rooms or short-term apartment rentals.

Swift will visit Warsaw in the coming days, so the matter was looked into Pekao bank analysts.

“Taylor Swift will have three concerts in Poland at the very beginning of August at the National Stadium in Warsaw. It is estimated that tourists who come to the August concerts may leave around 190 million zlotys in the capital. Among others, Americans who could not afford tickets in the USA will come to Poland” – we read in the analysis of the PEKAO bank.

The singer herself became the first billionaire to amass a fortune solely through her work. The star's influence on political life is so great that – according to some analysts – her support for one of the candidates in the American presidential election could decide the outcome. Others are more cautious.

“It's a mistake to assume that Swift's potential involvement in the race will be a magic wand that will point the way to the outcome. Political scientists say it often takes more than one message or action for a celebrity endorsement to have an impact on an election,” New York Magazine reported.

The fact is that there is already a movement of Taylor fans in support of Kamala Harris. “Swifties for Harris is a coalition of Taylor Swift fans committed to protecting democracy in the United States by working on behalf of progressive candidates in local and national elections,” reads the “Swifties for Kamala” account on the “X” website.

Taylor Swift has previously criticized racism, police brutality against ethnic minorities, and has spoken out in favor of abortion and the LGBT+ movement. Some expect her to officially endorse the current vice president in the race for the White House.

– I don't know if Taylor will ultimately endorse Kamala Harris, but I would like it to happen. What I do know is that Taylor is an incredibly agile strategist and that she will use her endorsement in the most effective way possible, says Jake Deyton, an influencer and Taylor Swift fan.

Swift has nine shows planned for her homeland after returning from Europe. Several of them will take place in swing states like Indiana and Florida before the election.
