Wysokie Mazowieckie. PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński is seeking votes for Karol Nawrocki

Jarosław Kaczyński convinced on Sunday to vote for Karol Nawrocki. – Nawrocki is a return to the development policy, democracy and security – he argued in Wysokie Mazowieckie. The President of Law and Justice also criticized the current government, calling it “hell”.

President PIS Jarosław Kaczyński called on Sunday at a meeting with the inhabitants of Wysokie Mazowieckie (Podlasie Voivodeship) to vote for Karol Nawrocki. He once again emphasized that this is a PiS candidate, although at first Nawrocki was presented as a “civic” candidate.

– Nawrocki means launching the political dynamics and changing the hellish government that we have today. This is a return to Poland's development policy – said the PiS president. According to him, Nawrocki also means “return” to the rule of law in Poland.

– the choice of Karol Nawrocki is a return to Poland safe, sovereign (…) functioning in alliances; We believe that functioning in a deeply reformed European Union – he emphasized.

Kaczyński assessed that we need “a strong policy towards foreigners”. In his opinion, the police or gendarmerie should be sent where a sense of security is – according to him – threatened by the presence of foreigners. According to the head of PiS, Rafał Trzaskowski is to “close the system” in the chair of the president to make Poland agree with Germany “For everything”.

The PiS president argued that the current government is a threat to Poland's sovereignty. – It's not about any federalization. The German-French state will be a centralized. Our independence will only become an incident – he assessed.

Kaczyński: We could rule decently

Kaczyński also said that at the time of PiS rule, money for social expenses was not missing despite the pandemic, war in Ukraine and higher inflation. According to the PiS president, PO coped worse, despite – in his opinion – an easier situation. – Let's remember how it was during the first rule of the Civic Platform. The famous statement of Minister Rostowski (Jacek, the Minister of Finance in 2007-2013) became a symbol: “There is no money and will not be.” Our governments came and it turned out that the money is – he said.

– We repaired public finances. If we did not fix them, there would be less PLN 566 billion – said the PiS president.

Kaczyński argued that his grouping, thanks to the increase in influence to the state budget, began the implementation of ambitious politics. – We also created other sources of financing and we could have a great social policy, the symbol of which was 500 plusnow 800 plus. We could develop various areas of our lives, from science to culture. We could support the Polish village, local Poland on a large scale. We could do it all because we could rule decently. Not perfectly, not brilliant, but simply decently – he said.

The PiS president also criticized the current government for “at least a radical slowdown” of the development plan Polish army. – Last year, the army increased by 10,000, not 30,000 people, despite the fact that over 40,000 came – said Kaczyński.

He also accused the government of not finalizing contracts for the purchase of weapons that were negotiated by the previous team. “It would seem that the funds are secured only that we have no decision,” he said.
