Zbigniew Ziobro did not appear before the parliamentary investigative committee into the Pegasus case on Monday, but a day later he appeared at the Sieradz prosecutor's office, where he gave testimony, Onet found out. According to the portal, the former minister testified in the investigation in which he has the status of a victim.
Zbigniew Ziobro, former prosecutor general and minister of justice, was supposed to appear before the parliamentary investigative committee on surveillance of the Pegasus system on Monday, but he did not appear and did not justify his absence. It was decided to submit an application to the District Court in Warsaw to impose a fine on the former Minister of Justice. The next hearing date is set for November 4.
On Monday morning, Ziobro published an entry on the X platform, to which he attached photos from the hospital.

Ziobro testified
As Onet journalist Kamil Dziubka found out, Zbigniew Ziobro testified a day later, on October 15, at the District Prosecutor's Office in Sieradz. This is a case in which Ziobro and his wife have the status of victims.
“The District Prosecutor's Office in Sieradz was appointed to conduct proceedings regarding the circumstances of the searches at the Ziobro spouses' place of residence. In the case, the spouses have the status of victims. Zbigniew Ziobro was questioned as a witness in the indicated case on October 15, 2024,” the prosecutor's office explains in answers to Onet's questions.
