Zdrój. Ostrołęka. A tragic day on Masovian roads. Three cyclists were killed

During the last day there have been three accidents in which cyclists died. At Ostrołęka, the driver of a passenger car fatally hit the driver of the two -wheeler. A similar tragedy took place near Płock. In turn, a cyclist hit by a truck was killed in the vicinity of Grójec.

On Thursday morning, the police officers' duty officers received a report regarding a road accident that occurred on a poviat road in Zdunek, located in the Ostrołęka poviat.

Emergency services and policemen from Myszyniec and Ostrołęka road were sent to the place. “According to preliminary findings, a 70-year-old resident of the Przasnysz poviat, driving from the side of the beard meadows towards Myszyniec, hit a 82-year-old cyclist,” he informed nadkom. Tomasz Żerański from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Ostrołęka.

“Unfortunately, as a result of the incident, the senior from the Ostrołęka poviat died on the spot,” added the policeman. The skoda driver was sober.

Two cyclists are dead

Unfortunately, this is not the only fatal accident that has occurred during the last day. IN Słomin near Płock died a cyclist hit by a driver of a passenger car. The tragedy also took place in Pniewy, near Grójec. There, the truck driver fatally hit a cyclist.

Policemen appeal to both car drivers and unprotected road users for caution. “Let us not be fooled by beautiful weather, but compliance with the rules is a guarantee of security,” they noted.
