The low-pressure whirl Zachariasz caused that a truly autumn aura prevailed in Poland – it’s cool and it’s raining. On Monday in Łeba, the felt temperature was only six degrees. – In many places in Poland, we have the coldest seventh day of August since 1992, i.e. for over 30 years – said Tomasz Wasilewski, presenter of tvnmeteo.pl, in “Facts in the afternoon”.
The weather in Poland is shaped by the windy low-pressure vortex Zachariasz. It was he who brought violent on Sunday storms and torrential rainfall. – It is very windy on the coast, we have a storm like in October or November – said Tomasz Wasilewski, presenter of tvnmeteo.pl, in “Facts in the afternoon”.
As Wasilewski noted, the storm raging over the sea practically took away the beaches in Ustroń sea and Kolobrzeg. – There is practically no beach there, because the wind pushed the waters of the Baltic Sea into the mainland – he added. – This weather is a mistake. We have such weather as if it were the beginning of October – said the tvnmeteo.pl presenter.
Coldest August 7 in 30 years
On Monday in Łeba at 11 o’clock it felt like only 6 degrees. – The thermometers indicated 12 there, but the felt temperature was 6 degrees due to high humidity and strong wind – said Wasilewski.
– On Monday in many places in Poland we have the coldest seventh day of August since 1992, i.e. for over 30 years – he stressed.
When will the weather improve? As the tvnmeteo.pl presenter said, it will happen at the end of the week, but not on the coast. It will continue to be cloudy with occasional showers.
