Niemen said that she managed to overcome her alcohol problem without anyone's help. As she admitted, when she fell ill with the flu, the epileptic episodes she had experienced as a child reappeared. – I was very scared – she reported. She was alone at home with her two children, who called a neighbor, and the woman called an ambulance. – I thought I was dying – says Niemen. During the examination, the doctor told her that if she was drinking, she should definitely stop. She took it as a sign.
