The hydroelectric power plant on the dam will produce 300 billion kilowatt hours electricity per year. This is more than three times the production of the current world's largest Central Three Gorges Dam China.

Huge expenses: Costs construction of a dam in Tibet is to be much higher from the expenditure on the Three Gorges Dam, which cost almost 35 billion dollars. This is four times more than initial estimates.
