Three American soldiers were injured in an accident on the A4 highway before the exits towards Legnica (Lower Silesian Voivodeship). Two vehicles traveling in a military column collided there. The right lane of the road towards Zgorzelec is blocked.
As reported by junior asp. Anna Tersa from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica, two road accidents occurred on the A4 highway near Legnica. The first incident occurred in the morning, three cars collided and there was a traffic jam on the A4.

– As a result of this congestion, one of the US Army military vehicles did not keep a safe distance from another military vehicle in front of it, driving in a column, and the two vehicles collided. As a result of this incident, three soldiers riding in the vehicle that hit the rear of the military vehicle were taken to hospital, the policewoman said. The drivers of the vehicles were sober. The right lane of the A4 motorway towards Zgorzelec has been blocked. Emergency services are still on site. The Military Police are investigating how the accident occurred.
