The leader of the Polish People’s Party, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, speaking on TVN24 about the possible date of the decision on joint electoral lists of the opposition, stated that he does not like to put himself against the wall. – When we were building a coalition before the last elections, it was August, a bit too late. I wish it was sooner,” he said. In this context, he also referred to the last column by Konrad Piasecki.
During the Thursday edition of “Rozmowy Piaseckiego” the leader of the Polish People’s Party Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz answered, inter alia, Konrad Piasecki’s questions regarding cooperation between opposition parties in the context of voting on the amendment on the Supreme Court in the Sejm, in which the party Szymon Hołownia Poland 2050 was against, unlike other opposition parliamentary clubs.
– Cooperation is a function of three components: community of interest, it is; communication – she was not the worst. But there is also trust, and that has been eroded,” he said.
He stressed, however, that the cooperation of the opposition is still possible. – There is a place for everyone on the side of democratic formations. We are able to reach an agreement, this agreement must include a community of issues. And this is what we need to strive for, and here I was disappointed, because I thought that the funds from the European Union are the issue that unites us in one of the first places – he noted.
