A masked person with a knife was allegedly observed at a secondary school on Sedanstrasse in Wupertalui. The alarm was raised around 10. Students were ordered to barricade themselves in classrooms. Special operations team officers from the entire region were sent to the site, reports “Bild”. The building is being searched. Armed policemen enter.
“Police officers are on site and numerous emergency services are investigating the situation,” the police said in a statement.
– The operation started after 10 this morning. We received information about a suspicious person on the school premises, police spokesman Andreas Reuter said.
The officers surrounded part of the city center. There is no information about the injured.
