A gunman killed eight people and wounded at least ten more in Jerusalem, the Israeli Foreign Ministry said, which described the attack as a terrorist attack.
According to the first information, the attack took place in or near a synagogue in the Neve Ya’akov district of Jerusalem. Police said dozens of officers had been sent to the scene of the attack. The attacker was reported to have been shot dead.
According to the medical services, the victims of the attack died on the spot. According to the Israeli Foreign Ministry, eight people were killed and ten injured in the terrorist attack.
Three people were hospitalized. The condition of a woman in her 70s is critical, while the other victim, a man in her 20s, is in serious condition. The third victim is a 14-year-old boy whose condition is described as moderate.
