PiS chairman Jarosław Kaczyński announced that his party would start collecting signatures for a referendum on the relocation of immigrants. He also said that his party was “at the end of the road” to selecting a candidate in the presidential elections.

Law and Justice protested in front of the Ministry of Justice in Warsaw under the slogan “StopPatoWładzy”. At the beginning of his speech, the president Jaroslaw Kaczynski He referred to the incarcerated priest Michał O., who is one of the suspects in the investigation into the Justice Fund.

The PiS chairman argued that the priest is “a symbol of all the great evil that is happening in the country.” He pointed to “the violation of the constitution, the violation of laws, the violation of human rights, all the principles of a civilized state.”

He also spoke about the undertaking that his party intends to launch. – This is collecting signatures for a motion for a referendum on relocation – he announced. He said that it is a “difficult task” because half a million signatures are needed, but more must be collected – about 600-700 thousand – because, as he said, some are always rejected. – Today, people, you could say, are not always willing to sign. Polish freedom has retreated – Kaczyński continued.

Kaczyński also spoke about the upcoming presidential elections.

He indicated that his camp needed “one strongly supported candidate”. – Let's not be fooled by all the fairy tales that we need new candidates who are sometimes from unclear circles – he said.

– We are already at the end of this road to selecting him. This is a road through sociological research. We need to know what society expects, what the average Polish voter expects – he added. As he said, the knowledge about who it will be will be “maybe not tomorrow”, but “very quickly” passed on.
