The Audi driver had trouble staying on the road until he finally drove into a field at an intersection and stopped there. When the uniforms arrived, it turned out that the 58-year-old was drunk. The police released the video.
The police were notified by a witness of the incident who reported that an Audi driver driving on a municipal road in Kąśna Dolna (Lesser Poland Voivodeship) had problems with keeping the track. The reporting person suspected that the driver might be under the influence of alcohol.
This suspicion was confirmed when the Audi did not fit on the road at the intersection and the driver parked in an arable field. Police officers arrived at the scene and tested the driver with a breathalyzer. The 58-year-old had over 2.5 per mille of alcohol in his body.
“Police officers from Ciężkowice have initiated proceedings for driving a motor vehicle while intoxicated, for which the man is liable to imprisonment for up to 2 years, a 3-year driving ban and a high fine,” the police said.
