Is it good that Poland will not have a representative in the UEFA authorities? – All right! Piotr Żelazny replied quickly. – Cezary Kulesza simply does not fit there – added the journalist and guest of the program, this is sport.pl, arguing that in such a place you need to speak a foreign language well. Roman Kosecki, once the Vice President of PZPN, also gave his short commentary on the situation.

“Apparently he did not take Martyniuk”

Kosecki with a little surprise assumed that Cezary Kulesza received during voting 21 out of 55 votes. This gave him the 8th position for eleven volunteers. The first seven entered the UEFA authorities. The minimum number of votes that gave success is 28.

– Well, Kulesza worked a bit, because at the beginning he was given three or four voices. So he did the job, but too little. It is a pity, because we forget that being in the UEFA authorities, you have a great impact, e.g. where various events take place – Kosecki scored.

The former footballer in this way referred to the fact that the PZPN president in February and March drove around Europe and made friends with other presidents. As we described in Sport.pl, he visited Croatia, Albania, but also the Netherlands and Turkey. He was also at meetings with activists of countries neighboring Poland.

– I knew perfectly well that it would be very difficult to get to the UEFA executive committee, but the status of the candidate itself allowed me to build and strengthen the PZPN relationship with other federations – Kulesza told us.

However, the relationships were not reinforced enough for Kulesza to enter UEFA, or maybe there was not enough familiarization visits? The guest “This is Sport.pl” – he referred to it with a snack.

– apparently Zenek Martyniuk did not take with him. As if “green eyes” turned on there, who knows, maybe these six voices were still there – Kosecki smiled.

– Zbigniew Boniek, regardless of what he did and what he did not do, it must be admitted that as we had our man in UEFA, we had more opportunities. I wonder what it will look like now? Kosecki wondered.

In the program “This is Sport.pl” he also told about what the election of the president of the Polish Association looks like, which footballer was the most interesting with which he played, and how the trip to running in the mountains at one of the team camps ended.

The premiere is Sport.pl on Friday at 20 at Sport.pl and our YouTube.
