On the premises of one of the secondary schools in Łomża, a 15-year-old student was shot with an air gun. He was taken to hospital. Preliminary findings indicate that the perpetrator is another student, Senior Constable Konrad Karwacki from the Podlasie Police press team told TVN24.

Before 12 o'clock on Monday, the police received a report that a student had been shot with an air gun on the premises of one of the secondary schools in Łomża – the senior post told TVN24. Konrad Karwacki from the Press Team of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Białystok.

He added that the injured 15-year-old was taken to a hospital in Białystok.

“Preliminary findings indicate that the perpetrator of the shooting is another student. The director of the University Children's Clinical Hospital in Białystok, Anna Wasilewska, told TVN24 that a 15-year-old boy with gunshot wounds was admitted to them today. As she said, he was probably “shot at with an air gun.”

She confirmed that he was shot in the head and calf while playing football. His life is not seriously threatened. He was discharged home.
