Morgan Wallen is taking accountability in his arrest.

Practically two weeks after he was booked on reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct charges in Nashville for allegedly throwing a chair off the roof of Chief’s Bar, the nation music star spoke out and addressed the scenario.

“I did not really feel proper publicly checking in till I made amends with some people,” he wrote on X, previously often known as Twitter, April 19. “I’ve touched base with Nashville legislation enforcement, my household, and the great folks at Chief’s. I am not pleased with my habits, and I settle for duty.”

Wallen added, “I’ve the utmost respect for the officers working day-after-day to maintain us all secure.”

The 30-year-old was taken into police custody on April 7 after officers stationed exterior the bar witnessed a chair falling from above, per arrest data reviewed by local outlet WKRN. Upon investigation into the incident, authorities reportedly discovered surveillance footage displaying Wallen “lunging an object over the roof,” which stands at six tales above the road.
