The trial of Krzysztof L. ended in the District Court in Zielona Góra. The 37-year-old was accused of murdering his wife's friend and attempting to murder her. This is about a crime that took place on July 8, two years ago, on the premises of the former Dozamet factory in Nowa Sól.
The perpetrator did not want to undergo a single examination by expert psychiatrists. He was placed under observation. – Experts found that at the time of the murder he was capable of controlling his actions and could stand trial – said prosecutor Robert Kmieciak, district prosecutor in Zielona Góra.
His wife barely escaped with her life
Krzysztof L. killed a 31-year-old friend of his 32-year-old wife with a knife, whom he also intended to kill. – The woman survived only because she managed to escape and thanks to quick medical intervention. She was operated on, which saved her life, said prosecutor Kmieciak. – The court issued a sentence of 25 years in prison – he said. The judgment is not final. Krzysztof L. has been convicted many times and has previously served prison sentences.
