An eight -year -old boy from the Nowy Targ poviat (Lesser Poland) entered the property of the neighbors, where the owner was playing in kind with his German Shepherd. At one point, the animal unexpectedly attacked the child, biting them in the face. The boy was taken to the hospital in a serious condition.

The incident occurred on Tuesday (April 29) in one of the towns of the Nowy Targ poviat. The findings of the police show that an eight -year -old boy entered the property of the neighbors, where the owner played with his German Shepherd, throwing a stick to his contribution.

“At some point, the animal unexpectedly attacked the boy, biting him in the face” – we read in a message on the website of the Lesser Poland police.

The child's condition is serious, but it does not endanger life

A helicopter of the Air Ambulance landed on the spot, which transported the child to the Specialist Hospital in Krakow.

“His condition, although serious, does not endanger life,” says the police.
