Rescue services had to use force to get to an apartment in Ostrów Wielkopolski, from which water was pouring down to the lower floors. A 39-year-old drunk woman in advanced pregnancy and a ten-month-old baby were found in the premises.
On Saturday evening, the tenants of the tenement house at ul. Dąbrowski in Ostrów Wielkopolski informed the police about two flooded apartments. They also called the fire brigade to help break down the door in the premises, from which water was pouring down to the lower floors. After breaking the door, the police found a 39-year-old pregnant woman and a 10-month-old baby inside.
The 39-year-old was intoxicated. She was less than three times the legal limit of alcohol. The child was taken to the hospital, but his health was not in danger. In cooperation with the Municipal Social Welfare Centre, it was transferred to another family member. A pregnant woman was also taken to the hospital. The family court will handle the case
When the woman recovers, actions under the Code of Criminal Procedure will be carried out with her, and the case will be reported to the family court.
