The application for the appointment of Ireneusz Rasie from PSL to the deputy minister in the department of development and technology was transferred to the prime minister – said the Polish press agency, citing sources in the ministry.
Ireneusz Raś will complement the vacancy at the Ministry of Development and Technology after Jacek Tomczak (PSL-TD), who resigned at the end of October last year. The resignation was related to the publication of Wirtualna Polska, according to which Tomczak for years cooperated with developers through his notary office.
The portal also indicated that the solutions recommended by Tomczak contained in the “Credit for Start” program “would lead to an increase in housing prices, and developers would gain the most.”

“WP” claimed that in the last four years the PSL-TD MP has signed at least 1717 apartments, and 3601 notarial acts between clients and developers were prepared “by him, his wife or their colleagues”.
According to “WP”, this office “recorded revenues worth several million zlotys, thanks to the service of many development investments in Poznań and the surrounding area.”
Ireneusz Raś has been the deputy minister of sport and tourism since December 2023.
