The tragic event took place in Piaseczno. In one of the companies on Mazurska Street, three men were working at heights and at one point they fell off the platform. One of their lives could not be saved.
– We received the notification at 13.20. Three men were doing installation work at a height of about six meters, on a landing. At some point, they fell: two directly on the floor, one on the shelf – the junior brigadier Łukasz Darmofalski from the State Fire Service in Piaseczno told us after 2 pm. He added: – One of the people who fell to the floor unfortunately did not survive this event. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene. The second person who fell was taken to the hospital.
He also reported that firefighters were helping a man who had fallen onto a bookcase. – They moved the victim downstairs and handed him over to the ambulance service – indicated Darmofalski.
Three fire engines and three ambulance crews were at the scene.
The police are also taking action. – There was an accident on the premises of one of the companies. One person died, two were taken to the hospital. Police officers are working on the spot under the supervision of the prosecutor, said the spokeswoman for the police in Piaseczno, Magdalena Gąsowska.
