The captain of LOT Polish Airlines proposed to a stewardess working on board the same plane. The carrier published a recording of the unusual engagement on social media.
“The first such engagement on board!” – LOT Polish Airlines said on social media on Monday. “You won't see anything more touching today,” the carrier assures in its Facebook post about the engagement of Captain Konrad and stewardess Paula.
In the recording published by LOT Polish Airlines, the captain, introduced by the airline as Konrad, welcomes passengers of the LOT Polish Airlines Embraer 195 aircraft before departure to Krakow, informing them about the planned travel time and the temperature at the landing site. Then he moves on to an unusual message. – Ladies and gentlemen, please allow me to take a moment for you. Today is a special day for me. Today, there is a very important person to me on board this plane, as well as a large part of our family. Mine and the most beautiful stewardess who is in the back of this plane at this moment – says the captain, waving to his fiancée. – A year and a half ago, at this job, I met the most wonderful person who completely changed my life, completely – he adds, his voice breaking.

– You are the greatest treasure for me, the greatest fulfillment of my dreams – says the airman, then takes out a bouquet of flowers and kneels down, adding: “Therefore, I have a request for you, my dear. Would you agree to become my wife?”
As we hear in the recording, the passengers reacted by clapping. After a while, the stewardess fell into the captain's arms. – It was like that”? – one of the passengers asks when the fiancée accepts the ring. – She said yes, the airman replies. – And now I invite you to Krakow – he adds.
