Even greater vigilance will be required on the days of the influx of tourists and the faithful at the Holy Week and Easter ceremony. Several hundred thousand people come to Rome.

Appeal of consular authorities

Advice, useful information and warnings for Poles were included in the Pilgrim's Holy Guide prepared by the Polish Embassy in Italy.

There is, among others, an appeal: “watch your documents, valuable items and money! Do not keep them in one place. Thefts in tourist places and in the means of public transport occur very often. If you arrived by car, do not leave any luggage or bags in a visible place.”

“Do not leave money, documents and valuable items (computers, telephones) in the vehicle at all. If the luggage must stay in the car overnight – park in the illuminated place covered by monitoring. In the case of theft – report it as soon as possible at the nearest karabinier or police post” – he was noted.
