Sicilian mafia boss Matteo Messina Denaro has died, in response to Italian media studies.

Messina Denaro, who was caught in January after spending 30 years on the run, had been receiving remedy for colon most cancers.

The 61-year-old was alleged to be a boss of Sicily’s Cosa Nostra mafia and had been on the run since 1993.

He was detained at a non-public hospital within the Sicilian capital Palermo.
