The head-on collision occurred at 8:44 a.m. on national road 94 near the town of Źródła.
– A BMW car performed an incorrect overtaking maneuver on a truck, which resulted in a head-on collision with another truck coming from the opposite direction. The driver and passenger of the car died at the scene – informs Sergeant Izabela Jasińska from the District Police Headquarters in Środa Śląska.

The ambulance team, police and fire department are on site. – Two truck drivers are injured, they were transferred to paramedics – says junior asp. Jakub Udała from the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Środa Śląska.
The DK 94 road is blocked in both directions, the police are setting up a detour. The expected duration of the disruption is about 4 hours.
