The Computer Security Incident Response Team of the Polish financial sector at the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, i.e. CSIRT KNF, warns against a new campaign aimed at extorting data. These are text messages in which fraudsters impersonate Poczta Polska.

“In the content of the message, cybercriminals inform users about the need to update their address,” says CSIRT KNF.

“In fact, the link leads to a dangerous website full of scammers they steal personal data and payment card information. Be careful and don't get robbed!” – the band explains and appeals in an entry posted on X (formerly Twitter).
