The announcement emphasized: “The clinical condition of the Holy Father is still stable. The improvement recorded in previous days further strengthens, which is confirmed by both the results of blood tests and the objective clinical assessment and a good response to pharmacological therapy.”
“For these reasons, doctors today decided not to refrain from further negotiations” – he noted.
“However, taking into account the complexity of the clinical image and significant inflammation found during hospitalization, it will be necessary to continue in the following days of pharmacological therapy in hospital conditions” – added in the Bulletin.
The Pope has been struggling with bilateral pneumonia and has been hospitalized in gemella polyclinic for over three weeks.
