– Today is a very important day in the history of relations between our countries. Today we start official negotiations on the text security guarantee agreements between Ukraine and Poland, said Ruslan Stefanchuk.
During the press conference, he was accompanied by the Speaker of the Senate, Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, who was present in Kiev. The chairman of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada emphasized that both sides wanted the document to be “as ambitious as possible.”
Stefanczuk mentioned the topics of the meeting with Kidawa-Błońska. In addition to defense, politicians discussed, among others, about the issue creation of an international compensation mechanism and cooperation between the parliaments of both countries.
