Germany and the United States are working hand in hand on Ukraine, strengthening NATO, US President Joe Biden said before starting talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Washington. The head of the German government, in turn, stated that “it is very important to send a signal that the allies will continue to support Kiev.”

Just before the meeting between Biden and Scholz, the US secretary of state Anthony Blinken informed that The US will provide Ukraine with additional military aid worth $400 million, including ammunition for HIMARS and Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles, as well as tank bridges, high-explosive shells and other equipment.
