The flight from Oslo to Warsaw was not the easiest one. All because of an aggressive passenger. He drank his own alcohol and offended passengers. He left the machine assisted by the Border Guard.

The border guard was called on Tuesday to the incident involving a 47-year-old Pole. The application showed that the “problematic” passenger was on board the plane flying from Norway.

After landing the plane, the crew showed the officers of the Special Border Guard Intervention Group a man who, according to the crew's statement, did not follow the commands issued by the on -board staff during the flight. “He consumed his own alcohol, behaving aggressively – he used vulgar and offensive words against the crew and other passengers,” described Major SG Dagmara Bielec from the Vistula Border Guard Department.

The man was called to leave the machine and instructed about the possibility of using direct coercion measures to him in the event of non -extended instructions. The man did not cooperate, so he was overpowered and handcuffed, and then, assisted by officers, brought to the Border Guard's service rooms.

“He was in a state of intoxication”

The 47-year-old was identified. “There was a clearly noticeable scent of alcohol from a man, but he refused to examine the alcohol content in the exhaled air. A duty doctor from the Airport Medical Service was called in, which stated that the passenger was in a state of alcohol intoxication,” said Bielec.

Due to his condition, the man was handed over to city guards, then he went to the capital center for drunk people at Kolska Street in Warsaw.

The action returned on Wednesday, after sobering up a man. He was punished with a penalty mandate for the offense specified in art. 210 para. 1 point 9 of the Aviation Law (failure to follow the instructions of the air ship commander related to order on board). As the Border Guard pointed out, it is possible that the 47-year-old will also be responsible for disturbing public order.

Border guards remind you that passengers traveling by aircraft have strictly defined rules. “All travelers undertake to follow them when the ticket is purchased and by boarding the aircraft,” they reminded.
