The Night of Museums will take place on the night of May 18-19. This will be the 20th anniversary edition of this event popular among the capital's residents.
According to the capital city hall, on the night of May 18-19, as many as 312 branches will be open, including over 40 for the first time. “Just like in previous years, these are not only museums or places associated with culture, but also those normally inaccessible, e.g. the nooks and crannies of the Ministry of Justice, the old medical book section in the Main Medical Library, the Prime Minister's office and the government meeting room in Ujazdowskie, a professional audiobook recording studio or the office of the mayor of Warsaw

In turn, at the Copernicus Science Center you will be able to talk to a robot, and at the Military University of Technology you will be able to see a real training ground and try your hand at a virtual shooting range. For the first time in history, the building of the Museum of Modern Art at Plac Defilad will be available. Its official opening is scheduled for October this year.
There will also be outdoor events. The Royal Łazienki Museum has prepared attractions for children, including: kamishibai theater shows, and the Botanical Garden of the University of Warsaw a night field game. The Jazdów Housing Estate will host the “Art in the Bushes” event, which will include exhibitions, performances, concerts and workshops.
The city has also planned a parade of historic buses and an interactive installation taking you to the world of art in the area next to the Youth Palace. Special routes have been prepared so that visitors will not miss the most interesting points of the Museum Night.
