During the weekend from 14 to 16 July, Warsaw road workers will mill the right lane of Grójecka Street towards the center. Traffic delays are to be expected.

According to the communiqué of the Warsaw Municipal Roads Authority, the workers will appear on Grójecka Street on Friday, July 14, at 10 p.m. The scope of work will cover the extreme right lane of the eastern carriageway between Narutowicza Square and Zawiszy Square. Not only the right side of the road will be closed to traffic, but also its middle part. Only one lane will be available to drivers.

Difficulties for drivers

“On Narutowicza Square, in front of Filtrowa Street, drivers will have three traffic lanes: left to Słupecka Street or a U-turn to Grójecka Street, straight towards Zawiszy Square and right into Filtrowa Street. After entering the latter, you will be able to drive in only two lanes – left or straight on. After passing Narutowicza Square, one traffic lane will be available. Only at the exit to Zawiszy Square, there will be two again: to turn left or to drive in all directions” – describes ZDM in the release.
