Żyrardów. Fatal accident on the tracks, delayed trains

At the height of the station in Żyrardów, a pedestrian was hit. There are difficulties in running suburban and long -distance trains.

Senior Sergeant Julia Szczygielska from the Żyrardów police informed about a fatal accident with a man. – The train was driving towards Łódź. There are currently services on site. Policemen will explain the circumstances of this event under the supervision of the prosecutor – the policewoman said.

There are traffic problems. Firefighters are also on site.

“Difficulties in traffic traffic on the Warsaw – Skierniewice line. Some trains may be delayed, canceled, running in a short relationship. Train delays may change” – inform Koleje Mazowieckie in the communiqué.

The passenger portal, in turn, provides information on delays in trains on the Warsaw-Skierniewice line. Delays usually range from 30 to 40 minutes, but in extreme cases they reach hours.
