In the town of Osiecznica in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, a dozen or so trucks caught fire on the night from Saturday to Sunday. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties. Ten fire engines were at the scene.
10 fire brigades were sent to the fire of 16 trucks with semi-trailers in the night from Saturday to Sunday in Osiecznica (Bolesławiec district, Lower Silesian Voivodeship), 10 fire brigades were sent to the fire – reported junior asp. Sławomir Kowalik from the Rescue and Fire Fighting Unit in Bolesławiec. He added that the actions were hampered by the fact that the cars had full tanks of oil, as well as tires bursting under the influence of temperature.
– Six trucks and two passenger cars managed to defend themselves. On arrival, 16 HGVs were involved in the fire, it was a fully developed fire. The fire started in the center of the vehicle depot, he said. He noted that this is the second vehicle fire at this location.
