An intoxicated passenger of LOT Polish Airlines led to his inclusion on the airline’s blacklist. The event was described by PLL LOT spokesman Krzysztof Moczulski.
Spokesman LOT Polish Airlines Krzysztof Moczulski described on Twitter the incident from the board, after which one of the passengers was blacklisted, which prevents him from flying on board LOT for life. According to reports, an intoxicated man “removed his panties and pants in the buffet” and urinated on the inside door of the plane. Moczulski admitted that he “didn’t believe” that he would ever post such an entry.
In an interview with tvn24.pl, the spokesman clarified that the incident occurred at the end of last week on the New York – Warsaw route. A middle-aged man started a fight on board the Dreamliner about an hour and a half before landing at Chopin Airport, i.e. during the landing procedure. The man was reassured by other passengers and his behavior did not disturb the flight. Despite this, it was decided that he would never use the services of LOT again.
Blacklisting is practiced by many airlines. The most troublesome passengers, who often pose a threat to the course of the flight, end up on it. These types of lists are intended to ensure the safety and comfort of both passengers and crew.
